Direct to Film Printing, so that’s what it’s called.

I’ve been printing and making shirts for some time. I started off with heat transfers, and then vinyl, and then using a machine to cut out the heat transfers, and then screen printing.

I saw a lady once make a shirt, without having to weed, what I had thought was heat transfer paper.

Apparently that is called film, maybe? That method seems pretty good. I wonder where do you get film for printing?

After looking at the process some, I’m not sure if acquiring direct to film capital equipment is within my reach. If I were to go toward that direction, I’d probably have to order direct to film heat transfers instead. In other words, I’d have to outsource the making of the film, which I would then heat press onto shirts.

Is that better?
