I have felt a bit sluggish lately. Spent most of the day sleeping and reading.

I hope to feel well enough to video some boxing on Saturday. I haven’t decide whether to use a camcorder or DSLR with a long lease. I did get this monopod with feet to mount whatever camera it is I choose.

I tried doing this years ago with a regular tripod but it was just too unwieldy in the stands. Maybe this will work better this year.

I spent my waking part of the day doing more reading and studying of the financial markets. It seems pretty clear to me that the financial markets are largely unrelated to the spot market or to reality. It is a different game altogether.

I’ve been reading Margin of Safety, Reminisces of a Stock Market Operator, and Turtle Trading. Also, on the history of hedge funds, which is interesting as the father of the hedge fund industry was a journalist and a sociologist.
